I've always loved helping out students, especially when it comes to academia. My approach when I'm working with a student is to explain to them in a way that they'll understand. I'll ask them to show me their thought process before we tackle the problem; that way, I can efficiently help them solve it! I graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Earth and Space Sciences in Summer 2020. As implied by my degree, I enjoy learning and teaching within the STEM field! I tutor in subjects such as geology, environmental sciences, middle school math, algebra, and high school chemistry. I love to tutor in these subjects for two reasons: they were my favorite subjects to learn growing up and the material can be challenging at times. But not to worry! There are little tricks and skills that can be developed over time to make math and science enjoyable to learn! I bring a lot of enthusiasm into every session and my goal is to make each student feel supported in their studies. My experience in tutoring dates back to high school when I tutored students in algebra and would help my classmates with their school work. In my spare time, I enjoy video editing, acting, singing, and cooking!
Education & Certification

Asides from tutoring, I like to act and create fun and entertaining videos on my YouTube channel. Along with my acting, I sing, dance, and recently started taking dialect lessons. I come from a family who loves to cook so every now and then, I get creative and come up with new recipes for my family and friends to enjoy!
