I am currently student teaching in an AP Physics classroom! After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa and working in industry for a year, I decided the engineering world was not the right fit for me. I wanted to make a bigger impact on the world and make a difference in people's lives. I realized my calling was in education, so I returned to school and am pursuing a Master's in Teaching (Secondary Science) at Western Governors University to become a high school physics teacher. I can't wait to spread my love of physics and math to students through teaching and tutoring. Students best understand science and math when they learn confidence and learn to think like a scientist. I believe the best learning occurs in a safe, student-centered environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts.
