I am a graduate of Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Science both in Art and Design Education with a concentration in museum studies. I have experience in teaching various visual arts and enjoy combining materials and techniques in both my lessons and my personal work. My teaching philosophy is that every student, no matter their age or ability, can benefit from the arts, especially when incorporating multimodal methods to engage students in viewing and creating artwork. Along with teaching visual arts, I also have a background in teaching art history and dance. My favorite part about teaching is getting to know my students to incorporate their interests into learning. In my free time, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, watching movies/tv shows, and visiting museums.
