I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham majoring in Neuroscience with minors in Spanish and chemistry. I have been involved in many different teaching and tutoring experiences for the last five years. I have tutored privately in math, english, biology, and SAT prep. I have also worked at a math learning center, tutored in summer camps, and at a non-profit working with at-risk children. I am very passionate about helping students understand SAT concepts and improve on their scores, but I teach all levels of math, reading, writing, and biology as well.

I believe that all students are capable of succeeding and achieving their goals if they are provided with enough support and motivation. Since everyone learns differently, I focus on understanding each student's needs and teaching in a way that works best for them. I place an emphasis on getting to know them as individuals so that I can cater the lesson to their learning style. Ultimately, this is what will instill in them the confidence and drive to succeed academically!
