I am a senior at Brigham Young University (BYU) pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Chinese, Mathematics, and Physics.
I have worked part-time as a teaching assistant in the Physics department at BYU for upwards of six semesters, so I have a large amount of experience helping students understand difficult concepts in physics and other STEM subjects. As such, my primary subjects that I tutor are STEM subjects, especially math, physics, and other subjects within the realm of mechanical engineering.
I love helping students understand difficult concepts. One of my joys in life is seeing the "light bulb come on" when a student makes the connection that helps them understand a previously incomprehensible problem.
My tutoring style involves asking a student questions to guide their own discovery of the solution to the problem they are facing.
