I am a media artist graduate pursuing a teaching profession to enhance opportunities and learn from people and their experiences. I am currently taking steps to become a certified teacher, expressing attention and awareness to my duties as an assistant in education. I am dedicated and devoted to doing whatever it takes to get the job done and help students become successful in their education. I am honored to assist in guiding our people to and for the greater good.
The experience I have in helping students is working as a substitute teacher. While working as a substitute, I learned to connect with children by expressing, attention, awareness, and visual work. I learned from other experienced teachers I worked with in order to be organized and presentable. I also managed to adapt to instructing in a variety of subjects, enabling me to tutor in all grade levels (k-12) and subjects involved in those grades. From the Navy, I learned visual communication. I am also able to tutor in college level courses. The topics I am most knowledgeable in are History, English, Literature, Media, and Social Studies. My teaching philosophy involves observing what your learning style, or preferences, are (kinesthetic, aural, spatial, etc.) and working together with you in order to help you overcome.
