I take pride in helping my students learn how to better communicate--whether it be through writing or reading.
* Graduated from Indiana University, B.S. in Education
* Have been teaching Advanced and Regular Language Arts, 8th Grade for 10+ years
* Assist students to write with more detail and evidence for claims by using eight, proven support strategies.
* Help students better and more deeply understand texts using Thinking/Concept Maps.
* Outside interests include softball, baseball, and basketball. Coach men's recreational softball team and am a life-
long fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
* Orlando Magic fan since team's inception in 1989.
* Enjoy bike riding with my dogs, Karina and Diamond, two Siberian huskies.
