About Me

Hello, my name is Dillon Dodson and I would love to be your writing tutor! I hold a Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University in studies of the Music Business, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Along with my degree, I am an accomplished and working freelance writer. Currently, I write news stories for the Chattanooga Times Free Press; here, I interview residents of Chattanooga, TN for stories about community events, business and restaurant openings, distinguished citizens, and more. I also write editorials for High Faluter, a startup publication based in Chicago, IL, about education, music, and culture. During school, I interned with Nashville Public Radio and have published original works with them as well. Writing has always been my love and passion and is a subject in which I would love to tutor you. My teaching will focus on fully grasping the fundamentals of the English language, then using those fundamentals to build skills in grammar comprehension, reading cognition, stylized writing, and more. I can offer help in test preparation as well. I very much look forward to hearing from you soon!
