I'm currently a freshman at Brigham Young University, where I am leaning towards a Public Health major with a minor in French. I've had many tutoring experiences including teaching piano to beginner and intermediate students, tutoring elementary level students in corrective reading and math, and helping high school age students with Spanish. I'm most passionate about tutoring Spanish, which I have spoken for the past six years, because it is exciting to be able to communicate with people, read books, and listen to music in another language. I want to help students get to this point of proficiency where they can enjoy all the benefits of knowing another language. I love tutoring because I love seeing students get excited about what they are studying and getting to celebrate their successes as they improve. I spend my free time outdoors, reading books in my hammock, hiking, and jamming out to good music.
