Tutoring chemistry, math, and physics over the past 6 years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Not only has it allowed me to refine my understanding of vast amounts of chemical and math related concepts, it has made me capable of effectively teaching my gained knowledge to students of all age groups, backgrounds, and disciplines. This rigorous teaching process I've engaged in for the past 6 years has helped me acquire the skills necessary for personalizing the teaching/learning experience for students. Furthermore, it has shed light on giving me an understanding to how others learn.
I am incredibly passionate in discovering creative new methods that allow myself to teach material to students in a concise, yet effective manner. I pride myself in having a near infinite capacity for patience which has granted me with the perspective that individual learning obstacles are more like challenges to overcome. This attitude gives me the confidence to efficiently learn and understand concepts that are brand new to me, yet capable of proficiently teaching its components a short time later.
Additionally, I am 100% confident in my ability to accurately respond to a question within the realm of my tutoring subjects or personal studies. However, it is not uncommon for me to be approached by an unfamiliar question or problem. In these instances, I promise to devote all of my effort to learn, comprehend, and teach these resolved problems until they are understood to the satisfaction of the student.
I'll never give up on a student, regardless of their math background, their prior knowledge on a subject, or any possible learning difficulties they may possess. That is my promise to you.
