I am a rising Senior at Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in biochemistry and minoring in finance. I currently work for a clinical study at Barnes-Jewish Hospital studying the effects of TXA in trauma patients. In addition, I am currently conducting an independent research project in the Goldberg lab, a WUSTL School of Medicine lab dedicated to elucidating molecular mechanisms of the malaria parasite. I believe my extensive research experience places me in a strong position to tutor for the MCAT, an exam very centered around reading portions of research articles and understanding figures. Although I have not tutored for the MCAT before joining the Varsity Tutors platform, I have served as a Teaching Assistant for a large introductory biology and genetics course at WUSTL, and have experience teaching science at a higher level.
