I am passionate about teaching writing. As an adjunct college professor, I pride myself on creating a warm, fun environment where students are encouraged and challenged to become better writers. In addition to my writing and law degrees, I have marketing and business development experience from working with law firms and television companies across the U.S. Our sessions will begin with discussing your overall goals and how becoming a better writer will help you or your child achieve them.

When I was a tutor at USC, I had the chance to work with one of the largest international student bodies in the country. I have worked with English as a Second Language students from countries such as: China, Japan, Korea, India, Mexico, Spain, France, Russia, Sweden, and Switzerland. I have a knack for explaining all of our grammar rules in a clear, fun way.

My master’s degree is in creative writing, so I excel at teaching literary analysis from the author’s point of view. I also use story as a way to motivate students to achieve more.

My business experience is invaluable for anyone looking for help with application essays, resumes, and cover letters. Let me help you create essays and letters which emphasize your amazing qualities and why a school or company should pick you. I am particularly adept at working with science and engineering students who are looking for assistance with both academic and business writing.

I have also tutored students with learning disabilities and am happy to work with you or your child to find the best way to learn. I am extremely patient and enthusiastic.

Let’s get writing!
