I recently graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Latin American Studies minor. During my four years at Tulane, I volunteered as a tutor for the Tulane University Community Advancement Network (TUCAN). I served as an executive member of TUCAN during my last two years as a student. I tutor students of all ages and enjoy exploring a wide range of subjects, but I'm especially excited to tutor Spanish and English grammar, writing, and literature. I'm also available for SAT preparation, essay editing and ESL. I make sure to foster a comfortable and secure environment that specifically suits each student. My favorite part of tutoring is the inevitable discovery of what, exactly, is presenting an obstacle to my student and then finding a way to overcome it.

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is that every student has the capacity to learn and to excel. It's all about figuring out what works and what doesn't for each individual, because a fresh approach is always necessary!
