I just received my B.S. in Biology from the College of William and Mary. I spent the summer as a Teaching Assistant with the Center for Talented Youth, guiding my students through a 3-week crash course in high school Biology. While I love Biology, I am also comfortable tutoring many other subjects. I am ready to help my students to craft their best essays, strengthen their critical reading skills, and become confident public speakers.
At the College William and Mary, I pursued a Science degree, but continued taking classes in History, Religious Studies, and Environmental Science. My role as a Tutor is to help students to find a way to use their unique abilities to succeed in school, on standardized tests, and achieve their dreams! Even though it can be frustrating for students to find themselves struggling in school or not living up to their potential, working through those obstacles can lead to a better understanding of themselves and how they learn. That knowledge will help them again and again. I hope that by working with me, students can not only excel in school, but come to appreciate the benefits that will come from hard work. In my free time, I love to get outdoors, cook and bake, read, and listen to pod-casts.
