I am a young professional with a strong academic foundation and multicultural background. I have a MA in International Affairs from Washington University in St. Louis and a BA in Sociology from Central University of Venezuela. I am Spanish native speaker and teaching my language comes naturally to me. I have been involved in tutoring Spanish grammar, pronunciation, and composition for college students in the U.S. during several years. I strongly believe that learning a new language permits us to view culture and language from a different perspective. After graduating from WUSTL, I moved to Washington, DC to join a policy research think tank. I have extensive experience in academic research on educational programs, human rights, and Latin American and Caribbean issues. My academic and professional experience has also involved reviewing and editing books and publications in Spanish and English. I am passionate about tutoring Spanish and helping people to excel academically while learning about different cultures and traditions.
