I graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Since obtaining my degree and teaching certificate, I have worked as a substitute teacher and tutor of many subjects in both Idaho and Montana. I have always enjoyed helping people learn and develop problem-solving skills, especially in my favorite subjects of Math, Chemistry, and Physics. Also, I have always been fascinated with the intrinsic relationship between math and the natural world. I believe that the ability to think critically and solve problems methodically is among the most important tools a student can develop.
A native of north-central Idaho, I grew up with a love of the outdoors. In the summer, I work as a whitewater rafting guide on the beautiful Salmon River. I'm always looking forward to my next opportunity to go explore a river or mountain! I also love to cook (indoors and out) and go to see live music.
