About Me

I am psychology and sociology student at Maryville University currently pursuing my bachelor'sdegree. After I graduate in Spring 2015, I plan on attending graduate school for forensicpsychology. I grew up in Kansas City, MO and moved to St. Louis for college. I have a passionfor helping others and believe that tutoring is most effective when I am focused on my client'sindividual needs and adapting my techniques (or even creating new ones) so that you get themost out of our one-on-one sessions! I specialize in ACT prep, but I enjoy working with studentsin other subjects as well, especially the sciences and language arts. I have experience workingwith students from elementary through high school, as well as with below-average, typical, andhigh-achieving students. I love working with students to realize their full potential in subjects thatmay have previously been considered boring or challenging. In my free time, I enjoy spendingtime at Forest Park, engaging in on-campus activities at my university, kickboxing, and playingvolleyball.
