I am a certified teacher in English Language Arts and have been teaching for over a decade, mostly in private schools and higher level. I am the teacher your kids will enjoy and laugh with as I make Shakespeare fun and VALID for the times.
I started tutoring in college, and I also worked in publishing creating a lot of the material you see on practice tests and various educational workbooks, textbooks, and media. I recently moved from NYC as I worked in the NYC Deptartment of Education as an English teacher and Social Studies teacher.
The students I have worked with in the past are Gifted and Talented, Dyslexic, Dysgraphic, Anti-Authoritative, ADD/HD, Epileptic, Autistic, English Language Learners, and those with specialized IEPs.
I'm also a writer and am working on my second novel as I try to perfect my first. I also edit for other authors.
My specialties are English Literature, History, and Writing. I can make the work engaging, but I will admit, I expect a lot from my students. But don't worry, I am easy to get along with.
