I am a Data Advocate, which makes me an advocate for all things that relate to the understanding, processing and proficiency in the "data space". I use my personal experiences to develop positive working relationships with each individual student. I received my B.S. in Operations Research from the US Air Force Academy. I received my M.S. in Business Analytics from the American University. In the future I intend to purse a PhD in a field of Math or Analytics. My teaching philosophy and tutoring style are pretty similar in the sense that I try to provide multiple ways to come to the same answer. I also try to use relatable analogies specific to the student's interest. Inherent in that, is that I have to develop knowledge and a relationship with the student(s). These are the moments when a topic makes sense to a student, and if we were in a cartoon, a light bulb would appear over their head.
