I graduated from Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, TX with an Associate's of Science and my years there paid off! After obtaining an Associate's Degree in Science from Navarro College, I transferred into Texas A and M's Computer Engineering department in 2015. I am currently progressing towards my Bachelor's in this area. I tutored students while attending Navarro in Math and Science. Coincidentally, these are my favorite subjects even though that is what was in demand at the time. I seemed to flourish in these subjects when I broke theorems down into easier to understand rules, rather than always trying to apply the complicated jargon in the textbook. After implementing this into my tutoring, I noticed that it helped students feel at ease with the material. When I am not studying, I like to workout and practice overall fitness.

My favorites subjects are biology, chemistry, and Latin. I've had a passion for teaching and tutoring for a very long time and have had much informal tutoring experience. My favorite part about tutoring is the breakthrough moment when a student understands something they've been struggling with and they're able to really appreciate what they're learning. As nerdy as it sounds I love taking difficult tests, and over the years I've developed study strategies that have helped me be successful. I took a multitude of AP tests which helped me tremendously in my college classes. I also did well on the SAT and ACT and can pass on the knowledge I gained in the process. I graduated Stephen F. Austin High School with a distinguished diploma and Cum Laude. Currently, I am studying at Texas A&M University to receive a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in History. While studying at Austin High School, I tutored students in a one to one setting for Honors Chemistry I. I also tutored between six and ten students in a group setting for the U.S. History AP exam. Following graduation, I have tutored students in a one to one setting via Skype or in person over the topics mentioned earlier. Professionally, I have tutored children below the age of 8 in basic mathematics and reading comprehension, while also serving as an assignment grader and answer key maker.Overall, I enjoy teaching subjects ranging from the humanities and social sciences to fundamental math and science; however, I personally love to teach History and Writing due to their importance in the realm of personal and intellectual development. History is the story of how the world arrived at its present state, and it is filled with hard lessons and memories learned from those long past.
