I'm Ms. Hardeman, the Elementary Special Education Teacher from Texas. I love teaching and pouring into young minds. Seeing students grow into their own independent learning styles makes my heart happy. Although I'm an elementary teacher, I also hold two masters degrees. I am here to help post secondary learners organize larger projects. Let me know how I can help you.

I am a mathematics educator with a doctoral degree in Early Childhood Development and Education, specializing in Child Development. With over 15 years of experience in education, including 11 years teaching middle school math and experience as an adjunct faculty member in higher education, I bring both expertise and flexibility to supporting diverse learners. My background has provided me with a strong understanding of how students learn mathematics and how factors such as math anxiety and confidence impact performance. I currently serve as both a teacher and director of my own online school, where I support students and families through personalized instruction and academic guidance. My experience includes helping elementary and middle school students strengthen foundational and advanced math skills while building confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Hi, I'm Alyssa! I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology (with Honors and a 4.0 GPA!). I am a current Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at Texas Woman's University, continuing my education in Kinesiology and related subjects.During my time at TCU and as VP of Student Kinesiology Association, I often worked with other Kinesiology and Psychology students to help them achieve success in their studies. I love working with students in these subjects because I am passionate about understanding the human body and the human experience, and want to help extend that understanding to others as well! Specific subjects that I tutor include anatomy & physiology, exercise physiology, exercise assessment and prescription, motor development, nutrition and physical activity, biomechanics, psychology basics, developmental psychology, and social psychology. I also have experience tutoring Algebra, and really enjoy working with students to build a strong foundation of understanding that they can use to be successful in their Algebra classwork, as well as any and all future math classes. After experiencing successful standardized testing results, I enjoy helping other students to be even more successful, and to achieve results that they can be extremely proud of (and that set them up for the future they desire!).While working with students, my main priority is to increase and solidify their understanding of the content in order for them to be able to apply and relate the information in any context- whether that be on a test question or in real life! I fill in the gaps when needed and provide clear explanations to help students feel comfortable and confident with the material they are studying. If you could benefit from some additional resources in Kinesiology, Psychology, Algebra, or standardized test preparation, please consider me as your tutor so we can work together towards your success!

I am a life-long learner. I have always felt that there should never be a day that isn't spent learning something new. I have a passion for a number of subjects, and I enjoy sharing that passion with others. I believe that learning is a personal experience that requires discipline to achieve at its highest levels. To that end I espouse a structured approach that builds into habits. Once something becomes a habit, built into your day, it is much more difficult to avoid doing it. Habits are the small steps that lead to success.
I am a lifelong learner and enjoy making learning engaging.
Mission Statement: To help every student succeed in their ability to master difficult subject areas. Everyone needs tutoring somewhere along the learning curve. New techniques, patience, and repetition are how I assist an array of learners. I have successfully worked with the General Education, and Special Education Populations in all age groups. I have proudly worked in Denton ISD, and am now a part of Northwest ISD.
