I am a graduate of Wayne State University and a current student at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Honors with a minor in Chemistry in 2021. Throughout my undergrad, I partook in opportunities to teach others, from leading a youth program on civic engagement to training community members on first aid and how to respond to an overdose emergency. I am passionate about writing, art, the sciences, and medicine, though I can tutor various subjects and age groups! I am particularly passionate in aiding children to build their foundation in their core studies and adult learners in their road to higher education. I can aid struggling students to achieve MCAT scores they are proud of, especially in the CARS and Sociology/Psychology sections. I also have experience aiding students of various levels in their professional and academic writing and speaking. Notably, I have evaluated students' college application essays and am serving on my medical school's admissions team. My name is Shane Gottberg and I am a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University with a double major in Political Science and Economics. I am a four year starter on the Lacrosse team, and will be continuing my education and lacrosse career at the University of Nottingham in the U.K. I would not have had these opportunities without the scholarship money I received in part due to my test scores, and am excited for the opportunity to help others do the same

I recently completed my Masters degree in Neuroscience at Trinity College, Dublin. Prior to pursuing my Masters I received a B.A. in Psychology from Emmanuel College, Boston. I plan on starting my PhD next year, and would ultimately like to become a professor. I want to teach because I have always enjoyed learning and helping other people to do the same.

I have voluntarily taken a leave of absence from my current position to spend some time with my family and friends in my hometown, Austin. I graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with minors in bioengineering, chemistry and math. I have my BA in History from Salve Regina University, and my Master's in Education from Lesley University. I have been teaching and tutoring for the past four years in the greater Boston area. I am a certified teacher for history grades 8-12 and have teaching experience in both middle schools and high schools. I have tutored all ages and love working with many subjects such as History, ELA, Writing and developing Math skills with younger students! I have worked with many students on IEPs and love to help them strengthen their organization and focus. I am also EEC teacher and director certified! I currently teach ESL to students in China. My areas of expertise include ESL as well as elementary subjects including English, writing and spelling!
