I'm an undergraduate at Rice University. Growing up in Houston, I left home after freshman year of high school to attend the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, from where I graduated high school early with two years of college credits.

I am a professional chemist with a Ph.D. from Texas A&M. I have 4 children 16,13,13,11 and since we homeschool I am very involved in their education. Personally, I am very involved in my kids sports and school. I like to run and play competitive sand volleyball.

I have a long standing passion for literacy and literacy based learning. I have designed personalized curriculum for Gifted Students and students with dyslexia.
