About Me

My name is Jon Lash, and I am currently a Master's student at Cornell University. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science from Cornell in 2016 and I plan to attend medical school in the fall of 2017. I am really excited to be tutoring for Varsity tutors because I really enjoy helping students with subjects that gave me trouble in school. I think the key to understanding is context. I remember learning dense science material in one class that only made sense after I took the next class. Once I was able to see the big picture, the smaller details started to fall into place. I try to always draw back to the big picture so that a student always understands what they are learning and how it relates to other material.
