I think that every student has potential that can sometimes be inhibited by grades and peer pressure. I strive to unleash the inner spark in every student I encounter. I feel that there is no such thing as a learning difficulty, rather there are teaching opportunities and different approaches to mastering a subject.

I am a graduate from New York Law. I am heavily interested in Finance, Law, and Politics.I have been tutoring the Law School Admissions exam since 2017 and have had many successful students. I have studied using many different test prep companies, and I believe in putting an emphasis on methodology and test taking strategies. I also have access to every test administered by the LSAC. I have an abundance of material to work on from previous administrations.All my students will receive LSAT tutoring but also help with the application process and with law school. After my students have taken their exams, we begin with constructing the application for acceptance and finally I have plenty of law videos and outlines to help get students prepared for their first year of law school.

I first started tutoring when I was an undergraduate student in college. I tutored both General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I finished my Undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Minor in Biology. I started teaching Chemistry while I was working on my first Master's Degree; I taught General Chemistry Labs. I enjoyed teaching so much that after I finished my degree I started teaching Honors Chemistry at the High School level.As a teacher, I love to use hands-on methods to teach concepts to my students. I believe in fostering a supportive and caring environment for learning. Part of the learning process involves struggling with the material before mastery. I work very hard to support my students during this challenging time. I also believe in helping students learn to take responsibility for their own learning process. This involves helping my students to learn the best ways in which to study challenging material for them as an individual so that they can be successful not just at their current educational level but also have study skills to take with them throughout their lives.

I have experience working with a diverse range of students, from Adult GED candidates to grade school readers to South African high school poetry students.I am trained to tutor in reading comprehension and writing for all levels, U.S. and European history, SAT/ACT (Verbal, Reading, Writing, Literature, Subject Tests), ESL, and college applications. With experience working for a diverse range of students, my teaching philosophy is that patience, expertise, and enthusiasm are essential to the learning process.
