I'm a native Houstonian and received my BS from Sam Houston State University and my MPSA from Texas A&M Bush School of Government and Public Service. My mother was my first and most important teacher. I was home schooled until high-school and I'm sure I was not always the easiest student to teach. However, she never gave up on me and without her guidance and dedication I would never have succeeded in my high-school years and later when pursuing my higher-education. I've always been passionate about education and love the moment when students begin to ask questions or finally master a concept. I currently work for an education non-profit that focuses on college persistence with high-school students. I believe that all students have their own unique potential and passion to learn. It is important to tap into each individual students talent, help them excel, and make sure every student has the tools and opportunity to succeed at their goals.

As a passionate tutor currently pursuing a M.S. Eng/M.D. from the Texas A&M University School of Engineering Medicine, I am dedicated to helping students excel in math and science. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore mathematical concepts at their own pace. I believe that making math relatable is essential to unlocking each student's potential. Professor K is certified in Spanish with 53 university hours from Abilene Christian University and Texas A&M Commerce holding a Master's in Education and Bachelor's in English and Spanish. He has taught all grade levels from K-12. He has been a Professor of Spanish and English on two college campuses. He has helped students with their learning of English as their second language. Hello! My name is Erin! I am so excited to start working with your child! I have a Bachelors's degree in Health Education and a Masters's degree in Educational Administration and Leadership. I am certified to teach early childhood through 5th grade, ESL certified, and I have my principal certification. I have been teaching for 17 years, and I am currently an ESL Specialist Teacher in Texas! I have taught Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade as a classroom teacher. I have also been an interventionist in both reading and math for students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. I cannot wait to meet your child and have fun while learning.

I have been in education since 2004. I received my undergraduate at Texas A&M University in biomedical science and then went on to get my Masters at University of Houston-Clear Lake in education. I was a classroom teacher for many years teaching 1st for 5 years and then a year of each of the following 2nd, PK3/PK4, 1st/2nd combo. I then became a dyslexia/intervention teacher teaching dyslexia to K-8th grade and intervention for the same grades for math, science and ELA/reading. From there I moved into a director position and had the privilege of teaching other teachers. I am passionate about teaching reading so that students have a strong foundation. I love math and science and you will always find me with a book just in case I have a few minutes. I love to learn and love helping others discover that they can love to learn. I am a full-time clinical BCBA and I am passionate about helping others pass their BCBA/BCaBA exam! I have been a tutor off and on for over 10 years. I have tutored a variety of subjects including BCBA/BCaBA exam, math subjects, science subjects, executive functioning skills, and organization skills.
