I attended P.L. Dunbar High School in Fort Worth, TX. After high school, I went to Stephen F. Austin State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Public Communications. I continued my educational journey at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, and received a Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Teaching, Coaching and Administration. I started teaching in 2008 and haven't looked back. I currently teach English II (10th grade), however; I have taught English I, English III, reading, and writing at the high school level. I enjoy teaching reading because reading can take you to so many different places. You are not just confined to the page while reading.
