I am a graduate of The University of Texas in San Antonio. I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus in Athletic medicine. Since graduation, I have worked as a substitute teacher for 2 years.

I am able to help students with English, in particular writing. Outside of programming and writing, I enjoy riding bikes, martial arts, Japanese, and cooking. I think a lot of things are easier than we make them out to be, and I hope to impart ways to encourage and improve students' mastery of their chosen topics. Education is very important to me, as when it is done well it is a lifelong journey.

I'm a firm believer that everyone can learn anything, with the difference being in how well they can master it. With this in mind, teaching is an exercise in variation of method to help the student understand.

I am fluent in Spanish and have experience teaching ELL students. I have tutored for Math courses as high as Pre-Calculus. I love teaching Math, Essay writing, and Reading. I am here to help! As a Senior in college, I have a lot of insight into what it takes to be a successful student in education at the higher level! I am studying English, Teacher Certification track with a minor in Coaching. I love the game of basketball and hope to one day coach my own team!

I am excited to work at Varsity Tutors. I like to give back to all peoples and to my community. When I think about my life and my struggles, I know that some type of tutor would have been so helpful for me. I know that my education has helped improve both myself as a person and my quality of life, and I am happy for the opportunity to assist others with their learning and education.

I am currently working as a high school math teacher, where I am teaching Algebra 1. I have earned my Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from UTSA, and I am certified to teach 7-12th grade math. While I was a student, I tutored a few of my fellow classmates, as well as helped out younger family members and co-workers with homework problems. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and have even tutored my cousin in Mexico in Math. I have experience working with people of all ages.
