She did a good job with the packet and was able to do the majority of the work with little help from me. If there were things she did not understand at first, she picked up on them pretty quickly. She will continue to work on these topics in class and will contact me for further tutoring when necessary.

In this session, the student and I worked with quadratic inequalities. When we began the session, she was struggling with how to manipulate the equation to figure out how to graph it. Throughout the session, we discussed different ways to get to the graphing stage, like using the quadratic equation or putting it into a different form by manipulation. We mainly worked on problems in her homework. Towards the end of the session, I gave her a couple of practice problems to make sure the concept was fully grasped.
