Although formally trained in the biological sciences and in the art of medicine, I have amassed a strong base to be a successful educator. My prior experiences include over 10 years of teaching, tutoring, and educating over a wide range of both community and academic settings ranging from the collegiate to post-graduate level. I am currently taking a year in Cambridge to complete a Master's degree in the Harvard Graduate School of Education to further improve my skills. As a tutor, physics is my favorite topic, but I am also enthusiastic about math as well as GRE test prep. For the next year, I will be working part time as a scribe at the Northside Hospitals in Atlanta.Ever since high school, I have been a tutor in one way or another. I was a peer mentor at my high school???s writing center for three years in a row. Although I was not paid for my services, I enjoyed tutoring other students because teaching helped me expand my knowledge on the material, as well. That is when my interest in tutoring began. I kept tutoring in college as well with the athletic department and TRIO academic services. Through my experiences, I have grown as an educator, learning different tactics and strategies to help students expand their knowledge.
