We completed several Spanish worksheets and focused on the two verbs servir and pedir. I set up practice quizzes for both her upcoming Science and History classes. Today we covered best places to study, how to study, and other visual/aural presentations as a studying tool when you "hit a wall", and the library as a study tool. We also went over linear equations briefly, melting points of substances and metals, how to read science writing effectively and easier, and "competition" where the student and I "competed" against each other to name all the planets in the solar system in a minute, and also all the countries of Europe. She also did some more mock competitions.

She said the 'tricks' were most helpful for her chemistry quiz, so we applied some to the most difficult vocab words. She was still working on congruency in triangles, so we went over several problems with algebraic expression and finished with a particularly challenging problem.

The chapter is really not difficult this test, so if he studies there is no reason that he shouldn't do well on the test. We spent the last ten minutes writing a thesis statement for the book he is reading for English, along with two topic sentences.
