There are two levels of CAIA exams that may be taken. The first level has 200 multiple-choice questions. The exam covers topics like professional standards and ethics, private equity, and more. The second level exam has 100 multiple-choice questions and three essay questions. This exam is split into two broad categories: investments and core and integrated topics.
