Tutoring review by Cyre in Paterson, NJ
We worked on the student's Oklahoma brochure again; she has to include a certain number of her spelling words in her descriptions on the brochure. We looked through her old spelling words on her agenda and picked out which ones we would use, and then she spent the time decorating it and drafting her paragraphs.

The student and I  started the session by going over the concept of what a Taylor or McLaurin approximation are used for. Once he had a grasp of the concept, we worked out some of the homework problems that he wasn't entirely clear on. We also completed the homework problems from 9.9, power series. I gave him recommendations on what to  practice for his test over chapter 9 tomorrow. We will be meeting again on Friday.

Tutoring review by Ramya in Paterson, NJ
I graded the English and Science sections of the student's practice test. She scored a 29 in English and a 27 in Science. We went over the questions that she missed and then we practiced additional science and English passages.  I feel like she is getting much better, especially in Science. I told her to take another practice test before our next meeting, which is on Sunday.
