I am a Yale University graduate from Long Island, NY. I obtained my B.S. in Psychology in 2015 and afterwards taught SAT prep for Kaplan Tutors. I became an MD-PhD scholar at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and spent my PhD years studying the neuroscience of learning and memory. I have a passion for bringing knowledge to learners in a way that they can best understand. In my spare time I like to work out, spend time in community, and play with my cat, Melanin.

I love spending time with my family and friends, talking around a table of food. I bring a lot of those conversational skills to my tutoring, which I love to do also! A lot of my days are spent studying, so I have had to turn studying and learning into something that is enjoyable. Like my mom always says, when you love what you do, you're never working!
