About Me

My philosophy in teaching is based on the fundamental principle that it's okay to not know-- we learn through our mistakes and I will be cheering you on, never punish you for learning. My grandmother was a wonderful teacher who helped me re-learn Chinese when I moved back from Japan to China. Because my grandma served as a mentor who believed that 'I can do it', I remained confident and went from bottom of class to top. Ultimately, we will not only work on your weakness, but also develop mental and physical toughness. Tutoring experience:spent 2 years in college tutoring pre-meds in Organic chemistry, and student athletes in Physics, Biology, and Chinese. Upon graduation, I spent 1 year tutoring elementary students in math. I felt a sense of accomplishment when my student improve over the course of tutoring, and I felt extremely appreciated when I receive positive feedbacks from the students. I'm extremely motivated to help you succeed
