Academic Background:

I am a PhD Candidate in Hispanic Studies at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. I have a B.A. and M.A. in Literary Studies from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogota, Colombia. And I have a certificate in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Instituto Caro y Cuervo, Colombia.


Spanish Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching Spanish for over 6 years at the university level. Additionally, I have had an amazing experience facilitating a Spanish conversation group for young adults and elders in my school. I have also been part of the logistic organizers of the Study Abroad Program and Community Engaged Learning in Holguin, Cuba.

Tutoring Experience:

Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have been tutoring Spanish in different countries and for different purposes: Academics, traveling, business, etc. (Age range: 9-60).

As a tutor, I am very flexible. I always adapt the content according to the students' needs and interests.
