I have loved working with students for the past 6 plus years. I have tutored students, volunteered at elementary school libraries, worked as a substitute teacher for two different school districts, and I am now a 3rd grade teacher! I earned my Associate degree in Elementary Education through the College of Western Idaho (CWI), and I received my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a literacy endorsement through Boise State University. I graduated with high honors as well! I have a growth mindset and I want to support students in their academics, encouraging them to have a growth mindset as well! I am a very patient, understanding, attentive, and creative tutor and teacher. I strive to provide differentiated support for my students and tutees. In my down time, my hobbies include watching sports, organizing my house, going on walks, taking my toddler to the park, the zoo, the trampoline parks, swimming, etc. I do tend to be more introverted and a homebody, but I do enjoy going places with my family or my best friends and their families. I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with new friends as I support them in their academics! I am super down to earth and love sharing my passion of teaching with others!
