I am a graduate of Wake Forest University. I received a degree in each of my two favorite subjects, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics. Since graduation, I have been working part-time and studying and preparing for graduate school. I took the GRE General Test and performed very well, and am preparing to take the GRE Mathematics Subject Test. What makes me a great tutor is my ability to think in not only a right brained way, but also in a more creative left brained way. This helps me better connect with students who struggle with subjects like math because of the feeling they do not posses the analytical skills needed to achieve success. In my experience, every problem can be tackled in multiple ways, both creatively and analytically; it takes finding the way that makes the most sense to the individual. This approach is very helpful with Standardized Test preparation where it becomes important to not only answer the problem correctly, but quickly as well. In my spare time, I love playing and listening to music as well as watching movies. I also enjoy sports and being active outdoors like skiing or SCUBA diving.
