We worked on his daily assignment, which was an introduction to circuits, and had us connecting points to form circuits and determining the degree of each vertex. I think he understood all key concepts without any problems. He has a quiz on the current materials next Monday, and then his final the following Monday.

The student started out with a free-writing exercise, which we corrected together. He had multiple sentence fragments, so we reviewed basic parts of speech and what constitutes a complete sentence. We then worked on math and began with some multiple step word problems. He breezed through most of them, but rushed through and got mixed up with a couple. We talked through the problems together, and he practiced similar problems successfully on his own. We reviewed basic geometry and how to find the area and perimeter of a rectangle.

The student worked on school homework online. I noticed that he successfully completed fractions common and noncommon denominator comparisons. The remaining of session was spent on the following: 1. Addition facts 2. Multiplication facts 3. Review of regular polygons I managed to gain his interest by allowing him to respond to multiplication fact quiz in a robotic tone. I assisted him to narrow down the multiplication facts he was proficient in and to set the next multiplication facts he prefers to work on. Multiplication facts flashcards were organized for him to practice.
