I am currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my major is Computer Science with a Math Emphasis. I tutor in Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AB/BC Calculus, and Calculus 1.

I am a special education teacher with an MA in Special Education and a Reading Teacher endorsement. I am passionate about literacy and love working with young students. I lived in Brazil for 30 years, and for the last 6 years there, I worked as a Reading Interventionist, working one-on-one with K-12 students who were having difficulties with phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension.

I am currently a graduate student at Georgia Tech studying Prosthetics and Orthotics. My career goal is to become a certified prosthetist/orthotist, which means I would make and fit artificial limbs (prostheses) to patients who need them as well as make and fit assistive devices that support existing body parts (orthoses) to treat various conditions.

I am also the co-founder of a healthcare information technology consulting group and we love solving data problems for health systems.

I am originally from the Land of Enchantment aka New Mexico but migrated to Wisconsin where I completed my Master's Degree in Nutritional Sciences just this past Spring. I have lived in Germany for 9 months working as a US Fulbright Research Scholar. I am an engineer with a graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I have taught math and science courses for 1.5 years. I also have several years of private tutoring experience, teaching various levels of math and science from elementary school through college. Teaching is my passion, not only because I enjoy doing it, but also since I see how it makes a real difference in my students' lives.

I am a Director of a daycare and am interested in working one-on-one with older students. I am a certified teacher for ages 10-21 in the subjects History/Social Studies/ELL.
