In yesterday's session the student and I mainly prepared for his oral exam, which will be given within the next few days. We discussed several different topics in Spanish, using future, present, and past tenses. We also spent a bit of time reviewing Chapter 5, which will be on his next exam. We'll try to meet up again before then.

The student had Spanish homework today. We worked on his homework, and upon doing so I noticed that he lacked some knowledge of verb conjugations. We worked on this and will continue to work on it over the course of the semester. He seemed excited to learn today.

We covered transitions and expressions that connect sentences. The student keeps scoring A's in her class. She is working with conjugating certain verbs and naming some nouns in Spanish. The goal is for her to become an excellent essay writer. I left a theme to be developed during the week. She will write the essay and I will correct it next week.

Languages Tutoring review by Lauren in Connecticut
The student did a good job today differentiating between aime and veux and answered lots of questions about foods he likes/wants. We read a dialogue and he had no trouble understanding that. At the end, we introduced some activities/hobbies to start working with next time. The student and I talked about our routines and will talk about vocabulary for travel next time.
