We reviewed and did practice exercises on integers and number properties, the real number line, fractions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing), exponents and radicals (multiplying and dividing), percentages and ratios, and order of operations. She picks up content quickly.

I worked with Student A first and she helped me put together vocabulary cards that had various animals, emotions, and verbs on them. She picked up on the vocab fairly quickly (particularly the animals). Student B struggled a little bit more. Then we played "Simon Says," and they practiced acting out various verbs to reinforce the words. With more exposure to various verbs they will begin to be able to formulate basic sentence structures.
