Tutoring review by Drew in Manhattan Beach, CA
Student 1 and I worked on some review problems to help her prepare for the quiz coming up this week. She is doing fairly well, continues to make small algebraic mistakes (cancelling out when not appropriate, dividing incorrectly, etc...). I think these small mistakes are adding up on her quizzes and tests and preventing her from scoring better, but her overall understanding of the process to solve problems seems to be good. I also worked with Student 2 briefly on converting between decimal and fractions, and he did very well with that. He got every problem right on his own that I watched him solve.

The student and I made a bunch of progress today. We finished up the second part of the GI section covering the large intestine, pancreas and liver as well as both male and female reproductive systems. We used my anatomy coloring book and the class notes to review the different structures. The student is picking up the information very quickly. We will meet again tomorrow so we can start reviewing the information she has questions on.
