I am a graduate of UCLA's English Department and of Oxford University's faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages and Literature. My thesis work was on the collected works of American author and Pulitzer Prize winner, Willa Cather and French journalist, author and filmmaker, Marguerite Duras.

I am a former math teacher who has a masters degree in math education. I have taught pre-algebra all the way to calculus! I have taught college math courses as well as PSAT/SAT prep courses, and teacher PRAXIS CORE boot camps. I am very tired. My enthusiasm and energy are very contagious, and the students leave behind their negative attitudes towards the subjects and get engaged in learning them. At the end, the students come out with a very positive experience after taking the classes. When I am not teaching, I am out playing soccer, hiking, or fishing.
