I am a graduate of The University Of Maryland (with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Management) and of Fuller Theological Seminary (with a Master of Arts in Theology). For the past 37 years, I have devoted my life to Christian service among the poor and diverse communities in Guatemala, California, and Oklahoma City.

I am a person of honesty and high integrity, very positive, and a gifted teacher. I completed my undergraduate degree at Scripps College in Claremont CA, where I obtained my BA in Biology. I'm from Costa Rica, Spanish is my native language. I'm also a US citizen. I've been teaching Spanish for many, many years. Had my own 2 language schools. At the present time I'm teaching at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Teaching is my passion, my student's success is my reward. I really care about every student I have the opportunity to help. We succeed together. Negative thoughts don't exist in my vocabulary and are not allowed on my student's vocabulary either. I am most interested in tutoring math (middle school, high school, SAT/ACT, GRE, AP Statistics) for many reasons. My affinity for math dates back to my childhood - I've always been intrigued by it.
