I am an experienced tutor with a background in economics, math, writing, and standardized test preparation. I studied Economics and Data Science at Stanford University, and I enjoy helping students break down difficult material into clear, manageable steps. My tutoring style is patient, structured, and personalized. I believe in pairing targeted test preparation with content lessons. I focus on understanding where a student is getting stuck, then explaining concepts in a way that matches how they think. The goal of our lessons is to be comfortable with the test/assignment you have in front of you and have a full grasp on the content you need to know. Whether I am helping with SAT grammar, math problems, economics, or writing, my goal is to build both understanding and confidence. I am currently a rising sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis. I am majoring in Biology and hope to enter medical school following my completion of college. I am passionate about math and science and enjoy teaching these subjects to students having difficulty. I am patient and know how to impart information in an understandable way.

I am a rising senior at Harvard College pursuing an AB in Government. Academically, I have diverse interests, including history, language, math, physics, philosophy, music, and politics. In high school, I tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in music, math, ACT and SAT prep, and Spanish. At Harvard, I spent a year as a course assistant in the math department, helping to teach introductory undergraduate calculus. Currently, I volunteer with the Leadership Institute at Harvard College (LIHC) as part of its Social Outreach Committee. This work involves teaching a weekly course called "Fundamentals of Leadership" to a class of middle school students. Overall, I have found my experiences tutoring math to be the most rewarding.

I am a recent graduate of Yale University and incoming first year medical student at Columbia University. Originally from the DC area, I have always had a passion for science and medicine and pursued a degree in Biology while at Yale. During the 2008-2009 academic year, I tutored science, math, English, history, and Mandarin Chinese part-time with a DC-based tutoring company. At Yale, I worked as a freshman counselor to provide academic and career advice to incoming freshmen. I have taken both SAT and MCAT test prep classes and am familiar with both tests as well as the preparation necessary to score well. My personal career goals include attending medical school to pursue either immunology/infectious diseases or psych/neurology, teaching biology at the university level, and working in public/global health with either the CDC or the WHO.

I personally scored a 2360 (out of 2400) on the SAT and 35 on the ACT and was successful in gaining admission to several top universities. I am a rising third-year student at Trinity College Dublin, and I am working towards a degree in English Literature. During my time at NU, I spent a semester at Madrid's top-ranked university, taking upper-level history and literature courses with Spanish students.
