I am also an amateur wood carver, primarily working with walking and hiking sticks, and I am an intermediate swing dancer, having competed and taught classes across Arizona.

I am an avid reader. I enjoy keeping current on educational theories and ideas. I have taken many supplementary courses that have enriched my knowledge. I like seeing Broadway shows and listening to the music from the shows when I drive in the car.
