My goal as a tutor is to improve the academic achievement of students through encouraging scholarly and personal progress. I maintain that listening to the student in order to asses problem areas within a subject is the best way to establish a working partnership in the effort to support scholarly achievement. I strongly encourage my students to set goals so that they can personally measure their academic progress and improvement.

I have been an educator for 8 years now. I love working with young people, because I find that they are always teaching me new things and helping to keep my brain fresh and my heart warm. I look forward to supporting students in getting stronger in reading and writing.

I take my responsibility as a teacher and a coach very seriously and it is my utmost intention to consistently treat my students with respect, compassion, and to challenge them in their academics to bring forth growth. This is the same that I would want for my own children and I promise to do no less for your child.

I believe in learning as the unlocking of fundamental human potential. I think that knowledge of the world as a whole allows you to be yourself more completely, to express yourself to others, and to make your developing dreams into reality.
