When I graduated high school, I went to and graduated from Hyles Anderson College with a BS in Elementary Education. I taught Elementary School for 7 years in a specialized class helping children in a variety of grades and ages, focusing on subjects that they struggled with while allowing them to thrive in the areas in which they excelled. I have also tutored children who struggled with subjects such as Math, English, Spelling, and History for several years. I have also earned my TESOL certificate in teaching ESL to foreign students. I have a passion for education. I believe that every child can succeed if they are given the help and the tools to do so. Besides being a wife and mother, teaching is my greatest joy.

I enjoy camping, bike riding, hiking, and enjoying nature. I also enjoy painting and reading. Working out and gardening are two new hobbies I have begun to enjoy.
