I grew up in a family of educators. My mother has been in education for over 25 years, and my father has been an educator and principal for close to 20 years. When I graduated high school, I went to and graduated from Hyles Anderson College with a BS in Elementary Education. I taught Elementary School for 7 years in a specialized class helping children in a variety of grades and ages, focusing on subjects that they struggled with while allowing them to thrive in the areas in which they excelled. I have also tutored children who struggled with subjects such as Math, English, Spelling, and History for several years. I have also earned my TESOL certificate in teaching ESL to foreign students. I have a passion for education. I believe that every child can succeed if they are given the help and the tools to do so. Besides being a wife and mother, teaching is my greatest joy.
