Tutoring review by Lalitha in Hyde Park, IL
We first did a retest together that he had to do for unit 7, then we did the retest for the quiz. Next, we looked at why he got the answers wrong on the quiz. Lastly, we made sure he was prepared for his unit 8 test tomorrow. At the end of the session, I tried to give him some test-taking advice, and next time I might give him more tips for test-taking. The student's biggest challenge today was working with positive and negative integers--it's something that will take a lot of practice. However, he works hard and we were able to cover a lot in an hour and a half.

I explained the concept to her and solved some questions for her. Then I asked her to solve the rest of the questions for me to make sure she understood how she has to solve them. She is doing well.
